Programs and Curriculum
Kids' Kampus Learning Centers provide a quality curriculum in our 2 Year Old, 3 Year Old, and Pre-K 4 classrooms. We use the Mississippi State Curriculum along with the Early Learning Guidelines. These curriculums implement letter recognition, letter sounds, colors, and shapes. Kids' Kampus has partnered with Local County Schools for Kindergarten readiness. Our structured program will prepare your child for kindergarten. We are also a voluntary participant in the Mississippi Quality Rating Improvement System, and make yearly improvements to our program to elevate our STAR ratings.
Programs and Activities
Birth to Two Years:
Daily activities for these children are based on a flexible schedule of informal learning and daily care activities. The daily schedule includes inside and outside play times (weather permitting), story time, and age appropriate crafts.
Our goal is to prepare children for kindergarten. Curriculum includes letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and basic writing exercises. Parents will be able to follow their child's progress with the worksheets and crafts they bring home. After lunch and nap time, children will engage in informal activity times both indoor and outdoor.
After School Program:
Activities after school include homework time, indoor/outdoor play time, and craft time. There are TV's in the rooms for limited educational viewing. Summer activities for this age group are organized to be fun and educational.
Outdoor play is essential to the healthy delopement of children. Kids' Kampus, Sumrall and Kids' Kampus, Too both have outstanding playgrounds, fenced for safety. Children will play outdoors daily, except under extreme weather conditions (Also see our Evacuation Locations). Please make sure your child is dressed seasonaly appropriate, tennis shoes are preferred. PLEASE NO FLIP FLOPS.
